What does snorting Amitriptyline/Elavil do to you?

i found a few Amitriptyline pills at my house and i wasnt sure if i could snort them.
i was wondering if somebody had snorted them before and what it felt like if it even makes you feel different. Or is it just used as a sleeping pill and if yeah could i still snort it or would that be a dumb idea or what?
